Introduction

Dr Goh's dentistry expertise is in wisdom teeth, dental implants and oral surgery. He is known for his management of dental treatment for those terrified of dentists, allaying their fears and putting the patient's best interest first. He enjoys the respect of his doctor colleagues as an astute diagnostician and he is also excellent with medically-compromised patients and special-needs children and adults. He is often referred patients with complex conditions or puzzling presentations.

Popular with adults and children, Dr Goh has been based in Mt. Alvernia Hospital since 1998. His patients come from all walks of life. From the jet-setting expatriate, to overseas visitors, the average Joe and Johan, media celebrities and the lady who works in a hawker stall, everyone is afforded the same level of care and concern. Dr. Goh has a simple tenet: to give patients enough information to know and to decide on exactly which treatment is best for them.

Fluent in English and Bahasa, and a smattering of Chinese, he is a true-blue Peranakan boy. A devout Christian, Dr Goh believes in spending time in and investing in his family, and counts ballroom dancing, archery, golfing, reading and DIY-ing among his many interests.

Associations

Professionally, Dr Goh has served in senior positions in the Singapore Dental Association and the Singapore Dental Council, as well as in various committees in the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Manpower. He actively participates in continuing dental education, and was an adjunct tutor in the Dental School of the National University of Singapore. He is also a lecturer and examiner in the Dental Surgery Assistants' Course conducted by the Institute of Technical Education.

Dr Goh is involved in overseas missions trips and relishes being able to help others with his skills. He also travels to teach dentists abroad to perform good and safe wisdom tooth surgery.
